I seem to lose track of time, of the days, so very easily now. Its all a blur.
It keeps me sane.

I met the owner at a lion's den rehearsal. Or stumbled into him, rather. The most important person in the entire company and I was wearing a frumpy dusty sweaty jacket. And he smiled at me - a sweet smile. Genuine. He was once a clown. He was a stilt walker and a fire eater.
Cirque was once a troupe of street performers.
I never let go of my dreams. I won't ever give up. I won't back down.

I have love, and I suppose that is all you really need.
My beau - sometimes he tells me that he dreams about me. And I smile for days.

My usual spot is a tiny indie/hipster bar in good ol glitter gultch, downtown Vegas.
I went to highschool just down the street. I know the neighborhoods around there, where I park my piece of shit car and walk. I have friends that still live there, in those little houses surrounded by dirt lots and abandoned buildings that are home to crazy hobos and stray cats.
Don't judge me. )

Today I punched the poor beau in the stomach. Harder than I had meant to. I immediately felt bad.
I believe I had mentioned upfront that I wasn't very girly, but sometimes my behavior is appalling even to myself.
Je suis vraiment désolé Scott. S'il vous plaît pardonnez-moi.

I've been busy culling the weaker pieces from my 2013 FW Collection. I called Ernest to talk about the beading on a few particular items and possibly drafting something of his own inspiration. All I heard was his wailing, "I've been planting cactuses FOREVER. ALL OVER THE PLACE. The tire on the wheelbarrow is totally flat! I thought this would take 2 hours, but NO, THERE ARE STILL CACTUSES EVERYWHERE."
LOL! I told him to call me back when he was done.

I think some of the last storm clouds that had been hovering overhead have finally cleared out.
The weather was so lovely today. The frozen world is melting, and the lamb has become more sapient drinking of the spring.

Scott - tu me dois un appel téléphonique lorsque vous avez fini de se masturber.

I've been interacting a lot with LVA alumni lately, as well as my old teachers and staff.
Taken from my 1997 yearbook:
1997
[Yep, that's me, a freshman in high school. LOL]

I like how the first class was composed and proper for the yearbook photo, and our class was acting like a bunch of clowns, with the concerned teacher frowning down at us.

I'll at least leave you with a clever quote.
"Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us."
alice789: (even the plate)
"You start using your head. That's the lump that's three feet above your ass."
I've said this to people, and they didn't get it.

My head hurts. I just got back from Karter's 6th birthday party, held at Chuck E. Cheese's.
The flashing lights, loud music, screaming kids, and all the people talking to me, it was TOO MUCH.
Don't get me wrong, I like loud music, flashy lights, cheering crowds, and attention from people - Just not this sort.
I did eat a few slices of pizza, and enjoy lots of Cherry Pepsi. I had fun, so I shouldn't complain.

Since I have a quiet night alone, I took some Tylenol and watched the 1988 movie Dangerous Liaisons. I absolutely love period films, and that's all I really have to say. This movie, along with a more recent adaptation (Cruel Intentions), is based on le roman épistolaire français Les Liaisons dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos written in 1782.
I highly recommend this novel, as it is on my list of favourites. Les Liaisons dangereuses is celebrated for its exploration of seduction, revenge, and human malice.
It shows how magnificent is the human capacity for viciousness, deception, jealousy, and pride - and being less severe upon my own species, it contains some small altruistic and noble acts, such as those prompted by love and affection. I find such stories fascinating, and touching.
"La vengeance est un plat qui se mange froid" - though not written in the novel.
A good read, nonetheless.

When going through boxes, I recently found the photographs I took when I visited Europe, about 13 years ago.
Summer 1999 in Europe
They are bad quality (they were never digital either), and I haven't ever deluded myself into thinking that I'm a photographer. I took these when I was 15. So don't hate.

There I am, on the right. I just look absolutely thrilled!!

Anyhow, they can be viewed on Flickr if you are so inclined.

The long-awaited package arrived from China:
Yay!
Included were a crazy glass mug, t-shirts emblazoned with bad English (I'll post some pics later), a Color Capi dress, iPhone accessories, and lots of candies (I started eating them, so not many were left by the time I took the picture). I loooove candy and I love getting packages.
Thanks [personal profile] astah! ❤

It reminds me, back in September of 2007, I received a package from Italy.
And the sender included a ton of European candies and goodies, which I absolutely had to dig through and eat immediately.
None of them were in English, so I kinda guessed.. caramelle colate jenza zucchero, I figured was a caramel hard candy.. and alpenliebe gusto menthe mix.. I knew had to be some kind of creamy mint.. and galatine con pezzi di cioccolato was probably a chocolate hard candy.. And I announce aloud, "Hey! I'm not that bad at this!"
Then I came across 5 of these strange looking candies, wrapped in wax paper.. on the outside, it said nothing but Sapo.
I bit down on one. Bleeeegggch! NASTY!!#%#@!
That's because it was a piece of soap!!

[personal profile] foxfirefey has gifted me a paid account, so that I'll stop bitching about the limitations on the number of interests in my profile. I loves her so. ❤
I now get 100 icons as well, which I will relish with great ridiculous joy over the next 6 months.

So about these...

Goodies from Europe. Thanks Olivia!

I've been hesitant to eat the goodies Olivia sent me from Europe. I could try to explain why, but then I'll sound like a huge idiot (moreso than usual).
Today I gave in, and ate a stroop wafel for lunch. Les gaufres fourrées au caramel (typique de siège néerlandais pour le sandwich délicieux), or caramel wafer in plain English. Mmmmm. Merci beaucoup!
These are nostalgic - Ich aß Karamel Waffeln in Deutschland, als ich 15 Jahre alt war... or something. Its been a long time, and different languages are starting to blur in my brain.
I recently went through photo albums and came across the many photos I took while in Europe.
Oh, how I wish I was young again...

About Me:

New friends and/or lurkers are always welcome. ❤

I grew up in Coronado, California, and the ocean is something I truly miss. I love perfumes, flowers, pastels and muted colours. I love to watch anime, play games, read books, eat sweets, and drink ice cream floats.
Despite liking really girly things, I don't consider myself an exceptionally girly person.
I get a huge boner for Baroque music.
